Are you looking for quick and easy Halloween treat ideas for your child’s daycare friends, church youth group, or party favors? Well you’ve come to the right place!
My kids aren’t in daycare, but I wanted to have treats for their friends at church and favors for the kids at our family’s Halloween party. Here are two adorable ideas. One includes candy, but there is also a non candy option!
Candy Halloween Treat
First, I’ll start with the option I intend to use for candy, but can also be altered for small prizes, a bag of pretzels, popcorn, etc. I used small pails that were bought on clearance last year at Hobby Lobby for 10 cents each, added candy, and tied these adorable printable name tags with Halloween ribbon that was also bought on clearance from Hobby Lobby for 10 cents.
You will need:
- Halloween Themed Pails (Both Wal-Mart ($0.97) and Hobby Lobby ($1.00) have these in the Halloween section)
- Ribbon (Halloween themed, black, or orange)
- Printable tag (My gift to you for subscribing)
- Treats to fill pail
Candy Alternative for Halloween
Second, is my non edible treat. I made my Homemade Halloween Play Dough. This step can be skipped if you would prefer to buy orange play dough. I rolled the play dough into a ball and bagged in clear treat bags. Afterwards, I accented them with green or brown ribbon and used hot glue to attach the tag to look like leaves. Don’t forget to use a black permanent marker or stickers to create an adorable face to complete your play dough jack-o-lantern treats.
You will need:
- Orange Play Dough
- Clear Treat Bags
- Printable Tag (My gift to you for subscribing)
- Hot glue
- Black Permanent Marker or Stickers
